Weak to sulfur and reducing atmospheres.Moを含み耐熱性、耐酸性、耐アルカリ性に優れる。Ｃontains Mo and has excellent resistance to corrosives, heat, acids and alkalis.316の炭素量を減らし、耐粒界腐食性を高めた。Less carbon content than 316 and has better resistance to grain boundary corrosion.高温での耐酸化性に優れた耐熱鋼である。硫化物に弱い。Good high temperature strength with resistance to oxidation at high temperatures but fragile to sulfide.代表的な耐熱合金。1090℃においても強度と耐酸化性を保持。Typical heat resistance alloy. Even at 1090℃, it still keeps its mechanical strength and high oxidation resistance. Co基合金で耐熱・耐摩耗に強く、硫黄ガスにも強い。Excellent resistance to heat, corrosion and abrasion.
